Creating art in various forms is my greatest joy!
Educational background ranges from studies in Arts and Performance at University of Texas at Dallas, graduate studies at Texas Woman's University and Art Therapy. I have shown art in numerous exhibitions and galleries of East and South Texas and in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
While the latest series have been in Acrylic, I have also worked in Photography, Digital art, Mosaics, Oils and Watercolor, as well as mixed media wall hangings of Textiles.
The point, for me, isn't about what medium is used but the creative process itself.
I am currently painting a series called WATER MEDITATIONS: Focusing below the surface and creating Glass Jewelry made with broken bottles and glass of all kinds. This is my small contibution to the Green Movement - reducing, reusing, recycling and recreating with something thrown away. These are in the online store for purchasing.
